During each math lesson; my students are asked to Read Write and Draw basically in a nutshell ; I am asking them to "SHOW ME YOUR THINKING!" Therefore, I am forced to make homemade white boards or run to the local dollar tree to purchase them. So in efforts to enhance the learning experience in our class; I noticed that whiteboard tables may be the answer to our crisis. This would indeed allow an instructional flow and minutes protected by progressing in this manner keeping students engaged in the learning and on task. Because I know for a fact that they love the handheld whiteboards already; the whiteboard tables will absolutely take learning to the next level as we continue on our journey as a first year project based learning school. From this aspect; my students will be able to collaborate more with me effectively in small groups or at Buddy UP time because the overall goal is to get them to become critical thinkers for a world we know not of yet.
