We are striving to teach our students through interactive games. As the students become more proficient in certain subjects, we can update and add more programs. iPads are a great way to keep students engaged while learning. Apple has great apps that can introduce our pre-k students to learning with technology. The iPads will provide practice with essential skills in print awareness, phonics, spelling, vocabulary, comprehension and writing. The math apps on the iPads will provide students the opportunity to recognize numbers and shapes, add and subtract, and listen to word problems. In comparison to other tablets, the iPad offers differentiation such as audio and a larger screen.
