Our school needs more one-to-one computers! Many of our students are second language learners and for some who are new to the United States it is their first time ever seeing or using a computer. Having one-to-one computer access for these students could be a dream come true with the proper funding. We use computerized language acquisition programs and other programs that provide much needed repetition and practice for our second language learners. Utilizing the computer to access dictionary.com, vocabulary.com, Reading Eggs, and Reading Express makes a big difference for the success for new readers. It's difficult to imagine not to have technology at home, but for many of our students this is a reality. We need to assist our student to have the technological opportunities necessary for the 21st Century. Please help us to make our dreams a reality by donating to my project!
