When my project is fully funded I will be able to use the material for projects that focus on the remnants of Williams Shakespeare and leading into the modern world of today with a variety of authors that have changed the landscape of English. I feel that when I focus on old authors like this then I can also relate the material my tribal stories. Some of the core standards we aim to achieve are reading, writing, listening, and speaking. What we also aim for is having them learn about their historical background that includes our tribal creation stories. We also go over other culturally sensitive subjects. That's what a fully funded project will help us with.

About my class
