My Project Every year I get a new group of students who enter the classroom and bring with them their own unique backgrounds and experiences. I have students who struggle with self-control, anger management, being honest, and making friends. Students often do not know how to deal with grief, bullying, fears. etc. Unfortunately, due to the budget, our school no longer has a counselor and/or a social skills teacher. My students need these books to be taught social skills to set goals, manage emotions, demonstrate empathy, make responsible decisions, and develop positive relationships. Children's literature provides a platform to launch these topics with students. Thank you SO much for considering a donation to my project!
