Having a scoreboard in gym will help students know how to keep score in games and activities. The scoreboard will also allow us to keep track of time during matches. Students love having a last second shot or chance for a buzzer beater. Having a scoreboard would allow for students to enjoy this element of the game. I have talked to many physical educators and all of them love having a scoreboard. It brings a level of excitement and structure to the gym. Allowing the students to know the time and score keeps the flow of class going and does not allow for wasted time.
