This iPad will allow students to create projects using a digital tool instead of the usual pen and paper. My students beg to see videos, experience the world through video, and use Skype to speak with students from around the world. As a teacher I have to pull resources from all over the internet to support my diverse classroom, the iPad will allow me to do it and allow the students to work on it directly in small group. Scanning will also push my class into a new age as they upload documents to write on using the iPad and create projects and portfolios they will carry with them as they apply to middle schools around the city.
