As we know students love interacting with each other, but for English language learners, it can be difficult because their language skills are still developing. Games and puzzles bridge the gap and make learning fun, as well as encourage interaction between a diverse population of students. Additionally, students in the special education class will be able to participate in these activities with peers that they may not typically see outside of their classroom. These are also great activities for teachers and students to participate in together, and for students to enjoy during downtime between classes.
