Having the printer in the classroom will encourage students to want to get to the publish stage of their writing. My students always want to type up their work but it's hard when we are only in the computer lab once a week. I do try to check out chrome books for them but they can't print because the printer in the computer lab is not set up for the chrome books. I feel that if the printer is there in the classroom students will want to write and be excited to publish their writing knowing they can print it out. This is getting them ready for when they have to turn in only type up papers for school.
