I will be mobile this year, moving from classroom to classroom. I will be instructing students and educators alike. The majority of my students have never left their inner-city neighborhood. This makes lessons being relevant super challenging. My aim is to allow students to learn and experience the world through technology. To educate them, and encourage them to seek outside sources to encourage growth and possibility. I want them to experience other cultures by virtually leaving the neighborhood they are born in. Through a partnership with a local college, my students would be able to virtually tour other areas of the country, and other countries altogether. They will be able to virtually walk the streets of London, England to experience our beginnings. I have been given the ability to have a small group with them and to reach even more students this year. As a social studies teacher, there is a big bright world they need to see. They need to know their voice, mind, and ability will influence our current and future climate. The surface pro would allow me to move with ease throughout multiple classrooms, and them to navigate this world and experience new things. Students could also use the Surface Pro to record findings, and create Social Studies projects
