With your assistance, these young, budding scientists will use these iPads and robots at weekly STEM centers to learn and practice coding. Students will practice giving the robots commands and programing them to do specific activities. This will also help teach students about persistence, learning from your mistakes, accepting when you fail, and thinking outside the box, as well. Bringing these robots to life with coding, will hopefully, inspire a hunger for scientific knowledge and problem solving that will stay with them throughout their lifetime! Mastering these skills is essential for these first grade students to thrive in the coming years!
