Being this my first year at the school I'm trying to create a culture and a program of success and high level of musicianship. It is impossible to establish a high level of musicianship from my bands if we don't have the proper equipment. When I arrived at school we had three snare drums and they are either broken or not functioning properly. Our band program does not receive any funding from our school, and we are trying to use this snare drum for our upcoming music assessment/competitions in March. I'm requesting a Performance Series Concert Snare Drum and stand to use in our two beginning bands and one concert band. This snare drum would raise the level of our performance.
