About my class

My historians would benefit from having more Chromebooks in the classroom. Our school has only access to 25 Chromebooks for the entire high school. Therefore my drive to enhance students' learning through the use of technology is severely impeded by the lack of resources. Having additional and up to date enhanced technology will help my students become better equipt to be 21st-century learners. They will be able to collaborate on research projects with each other and students from around the world. They will have better access to utilize Google Earth to better understand how they fit into a global society. The opportunities will be limitless with greater access to technology in the classroom and beyond. Students will not only be able to benefit from this new technology in the classroom but will also be able to check out a Chromebook for the night to engage in learning at home. The classroom will be able to flip from a lecture-based classroom to a teacher as a facilitator if students have access to the technology at home to engage in collaborative learning at home and not be penalized because they do not have access to the technology at home.
