Our school was affected by Hurricane Harvey and lost a lot of things. My students respond very well to technology in the classroom. It helps them connect more to what I'm teaching and opens their mind up even more to science and the use of technology in science as well. They love getting on chrome books, an interacting in the many websites geared to further their education such as research to strengthen topics taught in class, work on projects independently as well as present them to the class. I have my Google classroom set up to actively monitor as well as assign homework, projects and assess them in a more fun, productive and creative way as well as teach them to be proficient in the 21st century of technology
