If my project is fully funded, I will be able to provide two scholarships ($400 each) to students with financial hardships. They will receive the opportunity to experience the federal government and conduct meaningful interviews with government officials, members of agencies, special interest groups, and lobbyists in order to better comprehend important issues that face our nation. This life changing experience not only provides students with opportunity to see first hand how individuals shape government policy; it also provides an in-depth perspective of how government and politics co-exist. This is a perfect example of student led, engaged learning that leads to college and career readiness.

About my class
