My student's have access to electronic forms of books, but continue to struggle with reading. I have 22 students who need small group intervention, and have shown progress with the use of a hard copy. They have currently read through all the materials that I have, so I would like to bulk up my inventory to continue with their success. I have even reached out to other co-workers and storage to no avail. We are technology based! The leveled and rebus books will meet the diverse needs of every student who are on different levels, and provide room to grow. I will also address comprehension with my small group intervention with the center kit. These materials would be utilized every day in closing learning gaps of many struggling readers. Reading is a necessary skill as a contributing member of society, and I want to ensure my student's success as much as I can.
