International travel is a transformative experience. Students on this trip will be able to visit the places they've learned about in school and interact with people from different cultures. This will provide a new world view for them. Students will gain respect for other cultures as well as for the diversity of all life on the planet as they experience the multitude of animals that can be found no where else on earth. Students will learn the importance of conserving and protecting biodiversity through up-close and personal encounters. Students will also learn about the volcanic geology that formed these unique islands. This trip will give students confidence and maturity as they transition from high schoolers to adulthood and the experiences will impact them their entire lifetime.
