These headphones will provide my students with the opportunity for equal access to curriculum and testing; allowing my fifth and sixth grade students to take control of their learning across all settings. It also gives them the comfort and confidence to listen to the text as many times as necessary for their individual processing and comprehension needs. Our classroom depends on headphones for my students to access "text to speech" accommodations on testing, and access read aloud books in their free time. These headphones will provide my special education students equal opportunity to all learning experiences in the classroom. All of my students have a passion to learn, they just require the appropriate tools and devices to help them succeed. Together, I know we can provide them with the tools that they need to access their learning.
