Great minds don’t always think alike. Each day I spend with my students I learn that it is important to diversify learning skills and techniques. Having tools available for children to learn, strategize, and manipulate is important to gain confidence and understanding of what we are learning. As a teacher, I want to provide many outlets as I can to allow my students to learn comfortably and in a fun way. Flexible seating is one way to break the monotony of standard chairs with fun places to read and work makes it more interesting. Using building tools shows off the creativity and allows students to think outside the box. Having these available can increase growth mindset and confidence in our children’s future! The Gears Moving Monkey, crayons and scissors will help the students show their creativity. The Flex Comfy Floor seats will be part of the flexible seating in the classroom library. The magnetic bins will keep projects and class work organized and the privacy partitions will allow independent work and assessments done privately for each student. The game buzzers will make answering questions fun and exciting for the students and also assist in preventing students calling out in class and the noise level down.
