Remember the book that you passed around to all of your friends because you loved it? I want to evoke that same feeling for the students at my new school. When students are excited about reading and books, they read more which results in improved reading levels and scores.The library at my new school is VERY dated. The students LOVE graphic novels and diverse books. I want to update the library with books the students WANT to read. I want the students to be excited about not only coming to library to learn and create, but about checking out books and passing them around with their friends.
