Through my past 14 years of teaching, I have learned that getting kids engaged and excited about what they are reading helps them to reach their goals. Being a successful reader, helps boost the confidence of a child academically, socially, and emotionally. Putting books in children’s hands that are high-interest reads and on their level, helps to build this confidence in and out of the school building. It helps to enrich their vocabulary and makes them successful in the classroom. My goal is to help make these books accessible to the children who walk through my Reading Lab doors.

About my class
