This year my students will begin the school year working from home. This will present new challenges for both myself and my new students as we adapt to this new form of instruction and learning. Keeping my lessons fun and engaging will be one of my biggest challenges! The one thing I know is that writing on paper with a pencil is not very exciting to a five year old. Give that same child an opportunity to write with a marker and you've got a child excited to write. In a child's eyes a white board marker is simply magical. I know when they tune in and hear me say, "Take out your whiteboard and marker," every one of my students will be ready to work!
