My students love to read and they really like when they are able to relate what they are reading to what they have learned in the past. Most of my students are English Language Learners who need more exposure to material that is at their level and that they can understand. We live in Nevada and many of the families in our neighborhood are forced to move around a lot;as a result the children are not given a chance to really learn from their environment and build a good library in their home that can help them with school and understanding difficult concepts.
