My students love to play and learn with each other and about each other. One way they do this is during recess time. It is very cold in Minnesota now and many of our students come to school without snow pants, boots, and waterproof mittens. By having snow pants, winter boots, waterproof mittens, and sweatpants, my students will be able to enjoy recess with their friends and learn the joys of playing in the snow. This will allow them to play while being warm, safe, and comfortable. Relationships they build during recess help them in the classroom all year long!
