The materials will allow my students to learn science through hands-on experiences. Students will use the materials to make observations, analyze data, and explore patterns. Laboratory experiments are engaging for students. Through these experiments, students will develop a more sophisticated understanding of how the world works. The materials support a three-dimensional approach to the curriculum that is aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards. 7th grade students will have the materials to explore chemistry, cell biology, waves, and electromagnetism. 8th grade students will explore the fossil record and natural selection with the use of these materials. Lab experiences enhance student learning.
