Sensory play supports language development, cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving skills, and social interaction. Children learn best through their senses. Any play which stimulates the use of touch, smell, sight, hearing, using fine motor muscles is considered sensory play. The children will love playing with the Colorful Kidfetti and the Crayola Green Play Sand in the sensory table.
Stimulating young children through sensory experiences is a crucial part of their early brain development. To develop knowledge about shapes, the Shape Mirrors and Shapes Feel and Find Set will help support their learning.
Sensory play can help kids with disabilities calm down, stimulate their senses, and develop important skills! Some materials can include lights, colors, sounds, sensory soft play objects, all within a safe environment that allows the child using it to explore and interact without risk.
