I want to give students located in an urban community access to new and contagious ideas about learning Math and Science. As the school year progresses, I want to open the students eyes to new ways of learning. Learning does not have to be with pencil and paper. I want to provide the students with activities during our center times to keep them engaged in the lesson. Having these things in my classroom will keep the students excited about my class everyday they come in. I think that if I can provide extra activities that are contagious to the skill, my students will grow far beyond the expectations of the school. The items chosen will be used to increase performance in math and science. My classroom only has a limited amount of computers, so having an extra iPad will allow more students to work in the media center at one time. The hotdot games and pins will be used to review previous lessons taught and also drive current lessons. Dry erase packets will be used for whole group teaching as well as small group teaching. The students will have the opportunity to convey an understanding of what is being taugh on these boards.
