Having a couple tablets in the classroom will help students to do research for their science projects. They will be able to find interesting ideas and step by step instructions for creating a project for the science fair. Each group of 4 will be given 15-20 minutes a day to research their project ideas. Then they will write a proposal for the project they chose. Once it is approved, they will use class time each day to work on their projects and will be able to use the tablets to do more research. Another way I will use the tablets is for students who are having a bad day. I will allow students to take a ten minute time out to use the tablets for a quick game. This should help them to refocus and get back on task.
