Graphic novels help all kids build their love of reading. Many reluctant readers see books as too difficult and many times will not check out a book during library visits. By adding new graphic novels to our collection, these reluctant readers may be drawn to these books because they have less text. Many times, graphic novels can be a stepping stone to novels that many of our students need. They may feel less pressure and may finally feel a sense of accomplishment by being able to finish a book from beginning to end.

About my class
