Our carpets, though cleaned -- were not replaced after Hurricane Florence and this includes our classroom rug for reading and learning. I made my own flexible seating in the past (crate chairs for storage and seating) but just can't afford to do that this year with four littles at home myself! We have a pirate and mermaid theme! If my project is funded it will provide both a common area rug for circle time and for our book nook as well as a variety of options - wobble seats, stacking stools and fidget bands for chairs - to provide flexible seating for kiddos to learn both at their seats, on the carpet, and in small groups-where they learn best!
