We hope to instill in our students a natural curiosity about the world we all share. Many of our students haven't yet had the opportunity to leave the Chicago area, and this will be their first trip exploring another region. They will have the opportunity to see new and exciting things on a trip that will broaden their life experiences and help them see first-hand some of the topics we've covered in class. All students deserve the chance to learn both about themselves, others, and academic content through travel and exploration. This trip will engage students in hands-on ways through classes at the Ozark Nature Center about the science content we're studying. Some examples include radio tracking, predator/prey relationships, and animal adaptations.

About my class
