These two iPads will assist me in getting more students registered to take the ACT and completing college applications. Many of the students don't have access to a computer at home or WiFi access. I would like to increase the number of students graduating from my school and entering into college. Many students lack the knowledge of how to register and apply to colleges. I get numerous visits on a daily basis about needing assistance with registering for tests and applying to colleges. I would be able to set up appointments for students to visit my office and utilize the iPads to complete these tasks. This will ensure that they are on the right track and allow me the opportunity to have more one-on-one contact with my students. They will be able to receive some of the same experiences as other students at other schools. Also, it will provide them with a feeling of hope that someone is looking out for them, especially when they lack support from home. Overall, it will aid in the preparation for their future endeavors whether college or the workforce.
