In order to reach their full potential, students need to be comfortable. We work hard to build a classroom community where students feel emotionally safe and ready to learn, but we need help making our classroom more physically diverse with more flexible seating! My students come to school ready to learn and are learning how to be independent learners that advocate for themselves. Currently, I have very few students who learn best while sitting on the floor or at a desk with a regular chair. We currently don't have enough flexible seating options for all students to use their own each day. These extra options of bean bag chairs and ball chairs will allow all students to have a choice that may help them have that extra focus they need!
