I want to help my students realize that they can travel through reading. Literature is the best way to help students through personal issues while escaping to their favorite destinations. I want to show them the old time "classics" but also focus on new motivating, comedic, therapeutic literature. There are so many great books out there to help our students expand their vocabulary while learning life long lessons. My goal is to have my exceptional students challenge themselves, my approaching students reach grade level and excel, and my struggling students feel confident and ready to take on any book they pick up!
