My students are currently working with a limited supply of dictionaries in the classroom. In addition, the few we do have in the room are ones more suited for the primary elementary grades, not fifth graders getting ready for middle school. The students have regular activities and assignments that require the use of a dictionary. Due to the ones in my room being older and lower level, they are not the best resource for the students to use. By giving to our classroom, you will be helping students grow intellectually and become better students. Having an ample supply of resources in a classroom is necessary to aid students in becoming better writers, readers, and thinkers. With the right resources, students will be able to reach their goals and achieve academic growth.
