While I am working with small groups of students, 2-4 students can use iPads to increase their oral communication skills, literacy skills, as well as assessment skills in preparation of standardized testing. Students will have the opportunity to work independently and in small group settings on applications that will translate Spanish to English and provide practice to increase grammar skills and make it easier for their challenges to be addressed with those that have similar needs. Access to technology with iPads will expose my ESOL students with challenges involving language and special needs to interactive communication activities and applications that will help to improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
