The pandemic taught us teachers how to use technology to be bring the world to our students fingertips. Students were engaged participants in their education. If they didn't know something, they looked it up. They searched for how to do, learn and discover! Back in school, however, technology is limited. It is very difficult to get the laptops in the classroom because there are so few. By giving students the technology they need in class, students can take their education and put it back into their own hands once again! Motivation, engagement and participation is vital to student learning. By putting the Chromebook in their hands, students once again can have the world at their fingertips. They can use the programs that spark engagement. They will have access to reading, at their level that expands their world. Technology brings choices to our students that have very limited choices. Students can, once again, be complete participants in their education! Technology should not be another force of inequity in education. Every student deserves the ability to have tools to help them become successful, active, participants!
