We will be using these materials throughout the month of December to shake up our regular intervention routine (Really Great Reading). We spend a lot of time on the phoneme, word, and sentence level, but the kids don't often get the chance to engage with full texts that are accessible to them. Each lesson will start with a preview of words that might be unfamiliar, either contextually or morphologically. We will popcorn read and finish the lesson by covering some comprehension questions about the day's passage. When we finish, we'll screen the film!
