I am asking for basic storage (organization) materials, answer boards, pencil sharpener and a stapler to assist my students with routines and expectations. Students walk into my classroom with no supplies and the bare minimal organization skills. Research has shown that better organizers will be able to improve their:
• Utilization of efficient time management skills
• Improve relationships and productivity levels
• Self-awareness and responsibility
• Focus on prioritizing
• Goal settings and accomplishments
• Decrease stress and increase confidence in self-sufficiency
• Overall healthy and balanced life
When I entered the classroom, the walls were very bare, no established rules, procedures or expectations. This lack of order was apparent in the social behavioral and cognition of my students and the learning environment. Donating to my project will allow students the opportunity to experience education and life skills at the fullest capacity. Displaying structure, consistency and organization in the classroom is not only essential for my student’s educational success, but it enables me to teach at a high magnitude. Exhibiting expectations and establishing order in the classroom will aid students with following rules as well as improvement in the following skills:
• organization and following direction skills:
• organization and learning to read skills
• organization and literacy learning skills
• organization and learning math skills.
Please consider assisting my classroom with materials that will be fundamental to education and help build an environment that will be conducive to learning
