These educational games and resources will supply my new classroom to help me teach my newcomer students. These classroom materials will help English Language Learners by building vocabulary, reading, writing, and comprehension skills. The vocabulary cards help students make connections in English to their native languages and the games provide student choice and make learning fun. Providing a safe and fun learning environment is critical as many of my students have fled traumatic situations in their home countries. My goal is to help students successfully acclimate to life in the United States.
