Hands-on learning with engaging materials is the best way to introduce Pre-K students to school life. As an Early Childhood Educator, I feel strongly about the importance of setting the stage for a successful school experience for all children and families. Your donation will help me to create a calm and welcoming classroom where students are encouraged to create and explore with a variety of materials. The kinetic sand and the water marbles will offer new hands-on experiences in the sensory table. While the tempera paints, dot paints and watercolors will give my students more options for expressing themselves through art. The light filters, theraputty, sequin board and bean bag chair will be used to help students with self-regulation. I will have an area in the classroom set up for calming our bodies that is accessible to all students whenever it's needed. Sometimes we all need a place or an activity to recharge and get back to ready.
