My students are middle school age who are reading around the second grade level. Our intervention class is focused on increasing their reading achievements to get them on grade level. The headsets enable the students to interact with our curriculum by recording their reading and learning from it. The data used from these recordings enable me to tailor the curriculum as needed. Without quality headsets, the recordings come out distorted, hard to hear, and unusable. When this happens, the students become frustrated and quickly want to give up. My goal is to limit that frustration so they want to continue.
