The Listening Center and fluency passages will help the students become fluent readers. Students will also be able to use the skill of tracking their reading, by using their finger to follow along. Students learning English as a second language will be able to focus on the words without interruption. The stories and readers make this a fun and engaging way for students to learn new vocabulary and be able to see how unknown words are decoded. This center also exposes the students to different genres that will open their minds to a new creative ideas. This will show students that reading is fun.
