The kids have so much potential and our faculty is so passionate about helping them meet it! I teach 26 students in a high poverty urban area. 81% are eligible for subsidized lunch programs, and 93% hail from minority ethnic groups. Most of the teachers here shell out their own money weekly to help provide supplies and resources for our population. It's so frustrating to not have all the tools that teachers in other districts do, but I believe in miracles.
