Technology is a requirement in this day and age, but most of my students don’t have access to it within my classroom. My students are English Language Learners (ELLs) who are trying to become proficient in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. These Chromebooks will provide opportunities for my students to access programs that will help with the four domains of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. These Chromebooks will also assist with practice for the ACCESS test that is a yearly test that is required for ELLs that measures their English language proficiency. Having these Chromebooks will hopefully help more students increase their language proficiency and/or exit the ESL program.
