In previous years, there have been questions on the end of course geometry test that students were able to solve but since they weren't accustomed to answering the question using the specific format and tools that were necessary for the particular questions, many students were unable to answer correctly. I believe that with the addition of laptops in the classroom will allow the students to practice using tools that will be available to them on the end of year exam which is computer based. I plan to implement this into my rotations while reviewing for the end of course test by having a group solely set up for practice on the computer. Every 15 minutes we will rotate so that each student will get 15 minutes of practice on the computers. This extra practice will allow my students to be better prepared for their end of course test by allowing them to practice using the testing platform and some of the functions that are necessary for the assessment.
