Every time I plan a lesson where technology is necessary (which let's face it- that's everyday) I feel like I'm scrambling. I have 3 computers (which are slow and barely work), 4 iPads, and 32 students. Realistically, it's very difficult. Every kid wants a turn and a chance but often I find myself not using the technology that I know will benefit them because it often leads to more problems logistically. I would LOVE for my kids to have the opportunity to use technology every day, and open up so many more possibilities for more engaging instruction that will help them learn. I am looking to get 15 Amazon Fire tablets for my classroom. The kids will be using these tablets to access apps that will improve reading skills, math fluency, study habits, and beyond. We are currently doing research projects, but most of their research has to be done at home because we don't have enough resources. The tablets will be used EVERY single day for EVERY subject. It would be an unbelievable resource for me and the kids.
