I have seen first hand how stressed and anxious students become as they face academic and social challenges. Supporting student social-emotional learning is my top priority. It is my vision to create a space where students can come that is visually inviting and offer the students opportunities to collaborate, communicate, think critically and be creative. It has been proven that the furniture in a library is an essential part of creating an atmosphere that is welcoming and will help promote a sense of community. Life is too hard to do it alone!
