These students with autism have differences related to textures and tastes of food, thus do not often eat school-provided lunches. While they receive the school lunch each day, they often throw it away due to adverse taste, texture, or appearance. Their families are not financially able to provide desired lunch items so these students do not each lunch most days. This adversely affects their access to their education due to their basic needs not being met. I am hoping to provide desired lunch items so they will eat a lunch and feel more regulated throughout their afternoon. These staples will be supplemented with items personally purchased.

About my class
