I cannot sit in my students' seats for more than an hour before everything is aching and I'm young. My students need more flexible seating. Right now, their options are their desks, the floor or a towel I call a rug that I bought from Five Below. My students need comfortable flexible seating to keep them engaged in their learning. These students are very active learners and need options to sit in. Right now they have two pillows and wobble chairs that the class takes turns with. I have to draw a new number everyday to decide who gets the flexible seating for the day. Having more options such as floor seats, lap desks and floor seats will allow more than one student the opportunity to leave their seat and continue in their cooporative learning.
